Miraculous Moringa Tree
From Tip to root, the Moringa tree may be the most nutritional tree in nature. We use different parts of the plant for their nutritive and life-enhancing properties.
LEAVES: The leaves, delicious raw or cooked, nourish the body with a powerhouse of essential nutrients often lacking in the busy fast-food lifestyles. Moringa leaves can improve energy and endurance, mental clarity, blood sugar levels and hormones, lower blood pressure, boost the immune system, relieve constipation and skin problems and improve eyesight.
SEEDS: Moringa seeds can be used for their antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties to help treat arthritis, rheumatism, gout, cramp and boils, or as a relaxant for epilepsy. The seeds can also be used for their aphrodisiac qualities.
FLOWERS: The flowers taste like mushrooms, and have been known to improve the flow and quality of mother’s milk when breast-feeding.
PODS: Moringa pods are also call “drumsticks” and taste like asparagus. The raw peas inside are a tremendous source of fiber, iron, Vitamin C, and potassium, and have been used to address liver and spleen problems. They also have an antibiotic characteristic.
ROOTS: the roots, which taste like horseradish, have been used as anti-inflammatory and as a treatment for rheumatism and arthritic pains, for cardiac and circulatory problems.
WOOD: The gum of the wood is astringent and can be used to help with asthma. The bark is a rubefacient remedy and also good for digestive health.
